Ryan Aitchison, AKA Mella Dee, is a Doncaster born, London based DJ and producer whose sound has evolved during over a decade of delivering dancefloor heaters from bass heavy, garage inflected house through to the experimental edges of techno. That restless evolution is now the driving force behind Nothing Stays The Same, his own label and party series built on community over ego, with sold out shows at Pikes Ibiza and across the UK and a focused A&R vision centred on no frills, feet stomping club music.
We sat down with Mella in his London studio for an honest conversation about the craft of producting and DJing, what it means to stay true to your roots, and how he approaches been an artist in 2026.
